Linkshare Reporting

Hi,

Does anyone else get somewhat confused by the reporting on Linkshare?

I'm not sure whether it's just me but sometimes it doesn't appear to give me any stats for the previous days tracking.

Does this just happen when you don't make any sales?

And sometimes sales don't appear for a few days....

I agree with you totally.

There is quite often a long time lag before order details, or even impression/click-through details appear in the reports.

It's very frustrating because I use Buy.at as well and the data in their reports seems virtually real-time.

Hi Guys,

What you will find is that clicks are realtime and the sales etc can be reported as fast as 15 minutes.
If you are seeing much longer delays please email me or your LinkShare contact and we will investigate it for you.

Hi Darren,

I've just spoken to one of your guys and they explained to me that the commissions for NaP must be approved by the merchant first before they can be reported to me.

That sounds fine to me - I just wanted to understand why it seemed to vary

There are however a couple of days last week where there are no recorded clicks but I made sales

I've used only one merchant on Linkare and reporting of impressions, clicks and sales is always way behind.

I'm new to AM and so far it's not been necessary for me to have up-to-the-minute reporting but hopefully I'll one day be needing it and Linkshare reporting will be a concern for me hence I haven't signed up for more merchants and certainly wouldn't consider a PPC campaign for the products.

At the moment I check stats on all networks between 7am - 9am for the previous day's figures and I've never seen any stats at all on Linkshare (not even impressions are reported for the previous day). I then have to revist Linkshare mid to late morning. If I'm too early, 11am ish, I still won't see any stats in the new dashboard but will in the 'Traditional Login'. Usually around midday stats will start to show in the new login for the previous day.

The clicks are definately not real time for me - they are reported in bulk around 10am in the old login and around 12 noon in the new login for the previous day.
