Looks like incoming traffic to thousands of wordpress sites are being hacked to redirect to anyresults.net or your-needs.info

If you have a wordpress site, it may be worth checking to make sure you are not losing traffic. This redirect only seems to happen when clicked though from your google results.

Theres an interesting post on ShoeMoneys blogs about this:

Shows the code thats added to the site to get the redirect to work.

Apparently, it only redirects users if they come from a search engine, and haven't been to the site before (checked by using a cookie).

Clever, as site owners who try it out from the search engine link aren't going to get redirected so think their site is ok. Well more fiendish than clever :-)

It's amazing what criminal things people will do to get traffic

It is these people that give our business a bad name

There must be something that the search engines can do about this
