Why so much whinging?
Hi everyone,
I'm a long time reader of these forums and I've noticed that far too many affiliates feel the need to ***** and moan about every little thing, whats wrong with you whingers? not enough nookie?
We should all be working together on here, sharing ideas on how we all can make more money. Instead all we have is loads of people complaining about other websites and giving merchants advice on how to cut back on this that and the other. I can't help but feel if things carry on like this we'll all be looking for a new job soon, affiliate marketing will be no more.

To quote you Kashbaby "We should all be working together on here, sharing ideas on how we all can make more money."
Yeah, that sounds great but I can't help noticing that in the 9 months you've been registered here, this is your first post. So exactly what have you done to share ideas, work together etc?

Re: Why so much whinging?
So lets hatch a plan....Come on lets set up a little working group to change the reputation of AM - I'm happy to brainstorm/chat/drink for an hour or two in London if anybody else is?
For anyone that doesn't believe I would reccomend 'Its not how good you are, its how good you want to be' by Paul Arden

I think you know my friend - it takes twice as much energy to neg as it does to be positive but each to their own. I still recomend Steve Arden as a read!

Re: Why so much whinging?
OK, seriously, complaining won't solve anything, but in the interest of being proactive, we have a canteen and an auditorium in our offices (Great Portland Street, Oxford Street end), I've been meaning to take advantage of our Facilities and this seems like the perfect opportunity to arrange an open mic/ roundtable kind of informal event, I'd love to set this up and have anyone and every one come along and have a chat and a brainstorm about Affiliate marketing.
SO, any dates etc?

Re: Why so much whinging?
At the end of the day the forums would be boring if all everyone did was pat each other on the back.
Debate about the industry is good, and any good debate has people on opposite sides arguing their point of view.. seeing both sides means those in the middle can see all sides of the story.
Plus you have to remember that we are all actually competitors, so there are naturally going to be disagreements occur.
