Some great ones there!
Not as good as the others, but for me it was...
buying a pin-striped suit a month ago (for a lot less than £500).
Last week I was waiting outside a tube station in the City waiting to meet the CEO of one of the affiliate networks to discuss some projects. Journalist comes up to me from
City AM newspaper and asks me if I could spare five minutes. I was hesitant and originally told her I'm busy, but then I thought 'great
PR opportunity!' so said, yeah. I ended up answering several questions about inflation and the state of the economy - because I had my pinstriped suit on, she thought I was a stockbroker or something

I encouraged her not only to mention the biz name, but the URL ... she misspelt the domain name a few times, but I made sure she got it right. So now a few thousand people in the City know about Azam Marketing!
Did similar thing when David Blaine was living in a transparent box for a few days by the Thames. Put t-shirt on with one of our domain names... and appeared on Canadian TV.
