  Reseller's for own link network

Hi Peeps

Looking around the forum, link building using your own sites gets a good look in with reseller accounts

Wouldn't it be better to host on different servers/hosts than building using the same reseller account?

Surely Google sees them as the same person and doesn't give as much weight as if they were on a different server with a different whois? so therefore not as powerful?

Pls correct me if im wrong...

Nite peeps, 3am

Re: Reseller's for own link network

I have been wondering about this as well...

I remember reading somewhere that each site has its own attributes and that host server/IP is not a negative ranking factor. Unfortunately given that it was probably 3am when I found it, I am still looking to dig it out.

I have a large site and a few niche sites, all hosted on the same multiple domain host. I want to link out of one site into the niche's without wrecking my positions. Are you thinking along the same lines?

If you have websites hosted on a shared server as many starter affiliates do, they all share the same IP address. Using this logic, they would all do terrible in the search engines.

I believe that each domain name has it's own reputation. It's probably tied into an IP address or something similar so the search engines know when the name has changed hands.
