Good hosting sites and webediting packages

Just wanted to get a quick feeler on who people recommend for hosting sites and also webediting tools for a person that is new to this business but is slowly learning.

I've been recommended Bluehost, which seem to be good, and also Wordpress for editing. I'm on MSOffice live at the moment and although I appreciated it was free, I'm trying to improve my existing site and create more professional new sites and to be honest you're a bit restricted with MSOffice.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I use 34sp.com . £18 a year. They have scripts that will automatically install wordpress for you too. I have a few accounts with them and have been very impressed. Well worth considering.

Jaguar PC are one of the best for support and uptime, quality service at a reasonable price. I have a VPS with them and have no problems at all.
