Last week I sent out a FREE article on PPC and Quality Score to may mailing list.

This morning I received an Amazon gift voucher for £150 from a recipient of said article.

So for now I don't need any more Gift Vouchers as I have been able to order The Bay City rollers greatest hits using this voucher. I used the other £149.99 to order a nice little vacuum cleaner for my Gran.

Anyway I got so many email requests last week for the article I have stuck it up here to save more of you annoying me.

Free Killer PPC Article

Just a quickie on QS - I had two people email me and said they had tried these techniques and they had only got an "Ok" QS could I help?...

So I'm thinking either they can't read, should've gone to Specsavers or something was "amiss".

I dug deeper with one of the guys and discovered the problem...

They had done everything in the article to the "t".

BUT and this is a big BUT.

They had created a "landing page" as instructed on an existing site AND had left the NAVIGATION on the page the same.

So from a QS perspective the page was awesome for content, text links, etc BUT the navigation links (many of them out links) were going to other sites and pages with irrelevant content.

The product was a mobile phone - some of the outlinks were going to random sites (also owned by the affiliate) including travel, finance and even flowers (wtf).

So - I instructed said noob to pause the campaign remove all these links and re -start a new campaign to this page (without the outlinks)

Guess what?

Clicks went from 17p to 2p and are still "Great" after 5 days....

The QS article worked for me

Never used PPC more than a few hours before because i bled money

now im on 2p for a huge keyword , works a treat so definatly owe Affi and beer (maybe stretch to 2 heh )
