Interesting in the print version on sunday I had it said Martin Lewis, MD of moneysupermarket lol.....
... on voucher/discount sites.
The context is around the credit crunch and 10 sites that could change your life.
The usuals are there HOTUKDEALS, MyVoucherCodes and Quidco.com - great to see positive PR for those and the other sites listed!
Here's the online version - 10 sites that could change your life

Hope my site makes one of these lists soon![]()

Good article promoting the codes and cashback sectors. Although I wouldn't say the sites were 'life changing'.
ShopCodes: Please Email Exclusive Codes to: befuddle [@] gmail.com | Phone: Please don't. Please email.
Ray - I'd disagree - It widens the reach of voucher/discounts site - I've already had a meeting today with my Commercial Director about this article - who noted some our affiliates in this (Great to hear he is picking up on the names!) plus my Dad called about this.
Articles especially for the wide spread media will also increase and encourage usage by confidence.
All interesting though...
No.7 - how long has tribaluk been a "shop-bot like the well-known Kelkoo and Pricerunner sites"?
It's like a who's who of sites I just adore LOL
Good PR - catching up with them though gets tougher the more the names become known.. but I guess with the old creditty stuff we're going to see a lot more promotion for them.

Lifechanging?
Getting a discount from a voucher code site is hardly life changing!
Lifehacker is life changing. Myvouchercodes is not.

Hardly life changing. Why not recognise sites that give something back instead of stuffing it in their already overflowing pockets? Self indulgent nonsense imho..
The last I heard was that M&S discount codes (other than free delivery) were forbidden on affiliate sites.Discounts available on Friday at myvouchercodes.co.uk included £25 off M&S furniture... With the code WEBS9AM3 you could get additional £25 off
Only another slapped wrist on the way though as the playing field is very hilly these days.
Sites: Voucher Codes
7 TRIBALUK.COM - wtf, am I missing something here, their service is shocking, waited 2 weeks for a in stock item, plus if you have any kind of electronic website, you are guaranteed to have been spammed by them atleast a few times asking for links!!!
5 MYVOUCHERCODES.CO.UK - click to reveal no code but a dropped cookie, hmmm, lets not go there
The rest (quidco, hotukdeals, moneysavingexpert) I can agree with.
Credit Crunch = media hype and government profiteering, nothing more than a way for them to hike petrol prices and lower the value of the housing market!
'Life Changing' - Absolutely, now everytime I get to the checkout on a site and see that Promotions Code box, I just ignore it rather than spend, sorry, waste 10 minutes of my life searching for a code and finding only empty pages minus codes or out of date ones. Yes my life is changed, I'm now much happy, although maybe 5% or a free delivery or two poorer...![]()

Perhaps it meant that people who compulsively use those sites will suddenly realise at some point that they need their life changing ? >;-)
I know it may be a little old-fashioned, but I thought the best way of avoiding a credit crunch was to stop spending, not spend to save.
When ah were a lad, an we 'ad bugger all in't pockets, our landlord used to let us squeeze t'beer out of t'beer mats to get us a drink.... etc. etc.
