we offer them to the customer as normal, for example with easyjey once the price is confirmed they pass through to us the extras, these depend on the air route but we display them as 'outbound extras' and 'inbound extras' (they're usually the same).
Again we dont make on these, we offer them at the same price as what easyjet would. no extra commission is paid for these extras though, as, well the initial £3 is out of our pocket!
the only way we make any money is if the user books 'something' else, car hire, insurance, transfer, hotel etc. and we pay up on all those as well!
flights are a funny thing, but trust me when i say the money is in the ancillaries. we have flight affiliates, with highly targeted flight sites, selling flights, that turn down the flight commission in exchange for a higher car hire, hotel, transfer etc commission
