One of the comparison sites pages on Price Locator - UK Price Comparison Sites is receiving traffic for a nice search phrase which is not a brand name, they currently get the traffic via a direct link but have an affiliate program of which they have declined me.

    Do i:

    A. Leave it as it is and give them the traffic
    B. Remove the link.
    C. Remove the link and state something like "widgetsprices have chosen not to be featured"
    D. Remove the page altogether.

    What would you do?

oh and i asked why they declined me but got no reply.

    Thanks

Have you tried calling the network involved rather than emailing and asking to speak to the person in charge of that program?

If not then give this a try first as you will be able to discuss the matter in more detail.

Depends on the volume of search heading to the page could you not consider saying "widgetsprices have chosen not to be featured but here are some other similar retailers" and then link to ones who you are affiliated with?

I'd go with darren's suggestion as well:

"widgetsprices have chosen not to be featured but here are some other similar retailers"

You should still get the traffic then.

    Just my opinion

Or email the merchant and explain the problems you are having with the network?

    I would:

Try to get in touch with the merchant/network, calling them and explaining your case for being accepted on the programme.

If they still reject you sell the traffic to a competitor or the like. However before selling the traffic just point towards the new target and see if the original target gets in touch pretty soon - i think they will.

Not heard from Network or Merchant for over a week so taken the "have chosen not to be featured but here are some others" route.

    end of..

    Cheers
