Google Webmaster Tools - No Follow Redirects

I always get this Warning message in Google Webmaster Tools when using a no follow redirect to mask affiliate links.

"When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs were not accessible to Googlebot because they contained too many redirects. Please change the URLs in your Sitemap that redirect and replace them with the destination URL (the redirect target). All valid URLs will still be submitted - 200 (Success)"


Is this normal?
It doesn't seem to affect my sites as they nearly always appear on page 1 for the keyword I am targeting.

It doesn't seem to affect my sites as they nearly always appear on page 1 for the keyword I am targeting.

I've had this warning a couple of times on two wordpress sites. The url issue related to actual pages rather than affiliate links.
I didn't do anything and the warning stopped showing after a week or so?
