Peel Corner Creatives

Just looking for general opinion here for the peel corner style creatives

I have been working on one for demonstration purposes for Diamond Engagement Rings, Diamond Rings, Diamond Earrings & Eternity Rings (affiliatewindow) and I quite like the look of them.
I have had an affiliate place a demonstration one on his site - Birthstone Jewellery

Currently this is a one off install - but if there is the interest I hope to be able to offer this through affiliatewindow in the near future.

iv seen it on a few sites and it looks smart!

often thought placing in top left would generate a higher peel rate

then it would prob mash your navigation up and annoy users with accidental peels

I would of said the opposite, right to left would be more natural as thats the way you turn a book.

Brian - Have you got any links to a decent tutorial on creating the peel ads?? looks like something we might give a go

I like it. Needs a bit of adjustment on the placement text when unopened like the one on 4 Divas - Ladies Lingerie & Mens Underwear - Home Page so you can read the intro message properly. I would love to see more merchants making use of this.

As I have stated this is just really throwing the idea around. The actuall niggles - placement - banner design are being worked on.

the script can be used to place the peel right or left - i felt right was more natural

This came up a few weeks ago and I found some scripts for affiliates to use. It's a nice idea in certain circumstamnces, but I think we'll get a tad fed up if they become as common as 468*60 banners so please don't put them on every single page of every site you own!
