If you put a deep link in and distribute and then the deeplink system changes then your ebook link is broken.
Better to link to a page on a website udner your control perhaps where you can then sort out the problems.
Hi - I am new to a4u but it looks great.
Anyway - I am writing an ebook which I am hoping to sell from my own website and other e-outlets.
The book is nearly written, but as a how-to book it points the reader in the direction of various products and services and therefore I reckon a good way to do this is via affiliate links.
So, a few questions:
- Are there any restrictions on using affiliate links in an ebook?
- What's best - singing up to one affiliate agent website and getting all merchants from there, or shopping around for each and every merchant and potentially signing up to quite a few programs/websites?
- Also - if I want to reccommend further reading for my readers, is that anotehr chance to make affiliate money? Is there a good central resource for affiliates to find e-books to sell?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
Dr Paul

Thanks Mogga. I never thought of doing it that way but it makes perfect sense.
It will create also more traffic for the website I suppose - which can only be good and may feed clicks to other ad programs on the site.
Now what about promoting other peoples' ebooks? My book is a how-to do a certain job/trade as self-employed. Most of the book focusses on the nitty-gritty of the particular trade but I would like to point people in the direction of other how-to ebooks with titles like
"How to do your own book-keeping"
and
"How to get the best from your staff"
etc, etc.
Is there a good central point to go where I can potentially sell my own ebook and get make affiliate sales on behalf of other peoples' books?
Is this "bundling", or is that something else?
