I've been asked a question about banner advertising and I don't really know how to respond so I thought I'd seek advice from the experts on this forum.
There is a small B2B site with 600-800 regular tradespeople customers who each visits several times a month to order products.
The site in question offers a range of products and within many of the product lines there are competing brands.
The site owner intends to give these competing brands the opportunity to buy banner ad space on the home page and relevant product pages in order to influence visitors to buy that particular manufacturer's products when they are on the site.
He would like to do this on a tenancy basis (£x a month) rather than a CPM basis. Based on the brief outline above (he doesn't want me to identify the site) can anyone suggest an £x figure for a standard banner on a home page and a banner on an internal page where the product in question and the competing products are available for order.
I hope the above makes sense and sorry I can't be more specific but any thoughts would be welcome.
Thanks
