Low bounce rate, no conversions.

Hi,

Anyone had experience of this. My site has a very low bounce rate 12% and people tend to click quite deep within the site find out info.

Problem is im not converting that well at all..... eeek

Anyone have any tips. Perhaps my content is too handy!

If your bounce rate is 12%, then that really is excellent, most sites average 30%-40%. Can you provide us with the URL? hard to know why your conversion rate is low otherwise.

Your a little high on your bounce rate, you should be looking at breaking under 10%.

The two metrics you need to look at are open rates, which you need to be hitting 30% and then click throughs which should be above 17.5%

Are you running this as a third party email or as regular use email?

It depends on where else your visitors might go after reading your useful information and that depends on your market.

I think Peter thought you were referring to email marketing and not web site bounce rates as seen in Google Analytics etc...

we use to uaually observe such trends with adult sites... what sort of site is your's?
