Thread: Is Earning $2K/Month Considered As A Super Affiliate?

I earn about $2K/month (fluctuates between $1.5K-2K) for the past several months.

Is that considered super affiliate level?

What is the industry defined level for someone to achieve Super Affiliat Status?

Does it have to be only with one merchant or can the combined earnings be taken into consideration? (ain't I anal!) ;-)

    Thanks,
    Wannabe SupAff I guess!

I guess that's a real speculative question and depending on who answers it, you'll get loads of different answers. I earn quite a bit more than that per month profit but I don't class myself a super affiliate at all.

For me, it's people who earn over £15k a month in profit that I would call super affiliates. So no, I'm not one of them (yet) but there's loads of people on the boards here who are.

I would not class £2k a month as 'super affiliate'. But if you do £2k a month with 1 merchant, i'd say you were one of their super affiliates.

    If that makes sense.

I'm certainly no 'super affiliate', but there are merchants that would disagree LOL.

Why is it such a concern?

There are no preset levels as far as I'm aware of what defines a "super affiliate".

Concentrate more on maximising your own income rather than being concerned about what others are earning.

    Just my view.

As I understand it, Super Affiliate is not a description of your poweres, but relates to your value to a merchant. In other words, if you create what they determine to be a significant proportion of their traffic/profit, that would make you a one of their Super Affiliates. Typically, most merchants have around 10 affiliates who produce the bulk of their affiliate sales - these would be defined as their Super Affiliates.

So, aim to become a Super Affiliate for a program you like and can sell well, then move on and collect as many Super Affiliate badges as you can!

I think if someone make more than £10000 per month in profit, it is super affiliate, IMO.

LOL, I was wondering why Kieron was saying he made less than 15k a month. Then I saw it was an ancient thread

Same here, thought someone was having a wind up! Anyway, on the subject of super affiliates, think its a label that most won't want, and to quote a certain legendary affiliate on here, "whats wrong with being just good enough".

Oh, and just out of interest from a US perspective, Jeremy (shoe) see's a super affiliate as someone making $1-3million per month. Little way to go yet then

As someone who is new to Affiliate Marketing this is an aged but interesting thread.

Although, it would appear that most forum members do not get too hung up on 'titles' e.g. Super Affiliate, I am curious to understand if being a Super Affiliate in the UK equates to say, a monthly profit of £50,000 to £100,000.

On the basis of the experience of forum members, what is the shortest timeframe a new Affiliate could be expected to achieve such a profit level (if at all) ?

Well I am watching question time out the corner of my eye so i will try to answer this 'age old' thread.

I'd say a 'super affilaite' is someone who has the strength and commitment to see an idea through from conception to its end and then if it fails just gets up and tries again - Until one day they hit something that works and they make some dosh.

ps (wow Kieron you really used to live on that little in those days )

Seeing I don't make massive piles of money but still get called "Super" from time to time then I'd say it's because of what you bring.

Does the Super thing come more from the merchants point of view? Most will have a handful of affiliates that bring in the bulk of the sales, and they will refer to those affiliates as "super affiliates".
