Hey,!!
i've released a tool for wordpress that converts affiliate product data feeds into wordpress posts, very simply and easy to use.
It's also free there's already 2 of these around, both of them you have to pay for like £40 & £70.
You can import thousands of products into your wordpress blog structured with titles, descriptions, images, prices & affiliate links. Great thing is there all SEO friendly with proper permalinks, meta etc... and search engines love them.
It's very easy to customize and its very basic php, check out Convert CSV Data Feeds To Wordpress Posts for more INFO AND DOWNLOAD
OH sweet! I've been looking for something like this for AGES!
one question for us non-tech minded people:
Edit the following code in upload.php to change the affiliate link button,
<a href=\”$row[link]\”><img src=\”http://www.matboo.co.uk/buynow.gif\” alt=\”Buy now\” /></a>”;
I'm not sure what this means? could you help?
if you look at the example post part it says , affiliate link, this is the button which is standard but you can change it to your own! its a buy it now button

OH Snap!
sweet!
Do the posts appear as published when you upload them into Wordpress using the plugin?
yep !! they do
Hey Matty,
I installed your file and I'm not seeing any new posts being published when I tried using a CSV I created (it's small, less than 100 rows, and has all the correct fields).
I'm thinking one of the reasons why this is happening is that my site's wordpress folder is under www.mysite.com/default/wp-admin (rather than minus the "default" as you had in your instructions). Would this possibly break anything? If so, is there a simple fix? If this isn't the reason, do you have any other ideas for what's going on?
Thanks!
-Nick
