A Merchant is An Affiliate
Having just looked at one of the sites we promote on TravelPixel we have discovered they have affiliate links to another site we also promote. What do other affiliates think of this?
I think it is very poor and in effect turns the merchant into a competing affiliate for us while also recieving our traffic.
Im pondering the best course of action.
Thanks, Dave

Leakage is quite prominent amongst quite a few names. Amazon have 3rd party ads as does Dixons, eBay, 101CD, My Test Drive, etc.
To me, it's not too dissimilar to those dirty great big telephone numbers that appear on most travel sites. Both divert traffic away from generate successful affiliate sales/commissions.
Ideally, affiliate traffic would see no large telephone numbers or third party ads on merchant sites. That's just a dream though for many merchants...
