UK Mortgage news and content wanted for new site

Hi everyone,

Another day at the mill

I've been scouting the web for UK mortage news feeds for my new mortgage site and I haven't found much. Newsnow do a few bits and pieces. I would really like to have professional daily or frequent news plugged into the home page of the site as well as UK mortgage content plugins such as calculators and other stuff, etc.

I am willing to pay a small premium per month if that is what is needed. The ocntent will have to integrate fully with the look and feel of the site.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers for any feedback,

Simps - simply making a living from the web...

Have you tried www.moreover.com?

There is a mortgage one:
p.moreover.com/cgi-local/...try%20news

But I think it is more for the USA.

Sorry can't be more help. You could try contacting them, but I don't think it is a free service anymore.

Andrew

  moneysupermarket?

Do you have traffic?

If so, go for one of the guys like moneysupermarket, xelector etc (although not sure if xelector do mortgages yet). They often have loads of content that can sit within a white label. It means you have content that pays as opposed to content that costs....much nicer!!

News wise it's a bit more difficult to get news that pays (or is even free). It' a shame that vibrant media don't do a finance equivalent to their IT feed.

I've always thought newsnow were pretty good, but if you need something cheaper there's always news4sites. They're run out of india, so can charge a lot less. Don't go for their free feed though - full of adverts for their news feeds and will make your site look crap.

Simon, I have a finance site running on the side - mail me at nolukesleft@yahoo.co.uk - it'd be interesting to swap notes!
