This is really weird my page rank keeps changing from 4 to 5 since I updated it?
I updated my entire site to a new look about 2 days ago.

I had a page rank of 5 on the home page. This has now gone down to 4?? I dont know why updating my site would have made any diffrence any ideas why this could have happend and how can it be avoided in the future?

Don't worry it's just because Google is dancing, this happens every time. It will settle down in a few days.

Are you still showing up for the terms you used to before the PR change, in the same places or better? If yes I wouldn't worry what your PR says you got, as it's less relevant these days.. Trust me, I have a PR 8/10 that I can't even rank number 1 for the site name on LOL
I tend to agree with Clarke. I've never really bothered with Google's PR system as I've never understood itI've also found that having a PR of 1 or 7 doesn't really seem to have any effect in terms of visitors anyway. At least in my experience.
