Don't worry mate - for £x,xxx,xxx in sales this year I got just one Xmas card. And that was from my smallest network. Thank you Linkshare.

I've done loads of sales over 3 years for one merchant in particular on buyat and never received anything - not even an email in thanks. I guess it depends on the merchant and how much they put in the affiliate channel.

I have to say I'm genuinely disapointed not to get even a card from Awin or Buyat though. I know I'm not a massive affiliate but come on - times must be hard...

Having said that, I sent out precisely zero Xmas cards so I suppose I can't complain.

As Graham says there has to be a cut-off point somewhere.
It's not just about money.
Many forum members, which includes network staff, merchants and affiliates have been in affiliate marketing for years, we've met loads of times, shared beer and holidays together and we also just happen to hang out here where it's easy to say thanks.
At the end of the day most blokes I know don't give a toss about sending or receiving cards so it's a bit odd to read people practically asking to be sent a card here!

Won't mention all the other gifts we've been fortunate enough to receive as thanked people elsewhere, but just received Paid on Result's Harrods Christmas hamper. A big thank you to POR - you always have been and remain one of my best networks.

Sold 500K through one network, 350K though another - can't remember the others - didn't get anything. Obviously not selling enough!

Oh well, we can buy our own gifts can't we. However if I start selling millions worth of revenue this year I am expecting something.

I suspect it is most to do with who you know than what you do with some networks in this game (networking)
