Thankyou Affiliate Window and Buy.at
I would just like to say thankyou to Affiliate Window and Buy.at for registering an iCodes network account even though Affiliate Future thinks its a waste of time.
Affiliate Networks who register can simply log in and delete any voucher codes which are distributed via the icodes network, this will save them time in tracking down and requesting the deletion or alterations of voucher codes for whatever reason.
When voucher codes or merchants are deleted from the icodes database they are instantly removed from around 60 icodes websites and webservices (unlimted usage) feeds, this will obviously save a lot of time and effort from contacting these affiliates individually and hoping that they listen to your requests.
If you are a network who hasn't yet registered, and genuinely want to work WITH affiliates....
Network Register
If you are a merchant who hasn't yet registered, and genuinely want to work WITH affiliates....
Merchant Register
Please note, you do not have to 'waste time' adding voucher codes, this can still be done by the affiliates involved, but it gives you the ability to delete voucher codes which may be invalid without have to 'waste time' contacting the affiliates involved.

Hi Lee,
Am unsure why you have named AffiliateFuture this way and what your issues are with us as a network but I feel I should set the record straight on this! We do think that the iCodes idea is very good and have stated this in the past!
Whilst we have not signed up as a network yet this is only because we have had no real need to, we have not see any abuse via this system or had anything reported via our merchants so you should really see it as a good thing that we've not had to sign up.
Regards

Very clever reply James

My issues with you as a network is I find you one sided, ignorant and show lack of interest in smaller affiliates.
We spent time including affiliate future in our database when we should have spent time including silvertap and linkshare as i know for a fact they would have appreciated it more.

Probably a little bit harsh, but ive replied to James PM to explain my thoughts, he is quite welcome to post the PM here if he wishes.
Some people may find AF to be the most helpful and fair network which work well with smaller affiliates, but this is not my experience, so im only speaking from my own view point and not anyone elses.

As an agency do we need to sign up as each merchant individually or can we sign up as a network if we need to administer a number of merchants?Arctic Sunrise - affiliate management from the experts - big enough to cope, small enough to care - Tel: 020 7873 2154

At the moment as an agency you have to register each merchant individually, so it maybe a good idea for us to work out a method to link merchants together for agencies. (another job for Vincent) :-)
I think to save you time it maybe best for agencies to wait for us to make this option available, ill try and get this pushed through for early next week.
Network accounts are already linked to all the merchants which they control so for them this isn't a problem.
Cheers
Lee
