Its two weeks off, and I think traditionally merchants leave things to the last minute for the smaller events.
Although I don't expect it to be a big seller, I'd like to see what milage I can gain from Fathers Day.
However, haven't seen any offers, creative or suggested promos from merchants yet.
So is this simply a fact that Fathers Day is only a blip on the marketing radar and not worth the merchants pushing - or have they just forgotton to give us something to work with![]()
Any thoughts or experience from past Fathers Day anyone want to share?

Hi Neil
I just had a look through our merchants and have found that John lewis and Mankind have specific Fathers day banners.
Memorisethis, Activity gifts and Sendcardsdirect currently have Fathers day sections on their site.

I've had a Boysstuff banner on one of my sites for about 3 weeks, I think they must have been one of the first to get their act together.
I think the real problem is that as Fathers we dont moan enough. If WE get nothing we just sulk for a day but if Mum gets nothing then life becomes hell for the Father as well as the kids !!
I guess we are the weaker sex after all
