    Hi,
I would be grateful for any advice you experienced affiliates could offer me.
I currently have several content-based sites which have first page ranking for many keywords and are doing fine regarding organic search results. They also bring in some revenue from Adsense and the odd affiliate product sale.
They are not dymamic sites as such, just html with some flash elements, YouTube vids etc. In my previous life I was a newspaper chief sub editor for years so the design side is things is no problem for me at all.
My problems arise from a few prices comparision sites I've launched recently for specific toys etc - namely each site relates to one high-price toy with prices from a range of merchants on Affiliate Window, Paid on Results, CJ etc.
These sites have mainly gained traffic via Adwords campaigns - but it's been a nightmare trying to update prices daily as I've been doing it all manually through my WYSIWYG design program - and Amazon has really made it a pain because, as you'll know, they sometimes change their prices several times a day.
What I would like is some suggestions for a way to have the prices update automatically through feeds or similar, and ideally something which could be integrated into my normal design program. (Serif Webplus X2)
I know my way around most of the features in my cpanel account but have no real experience of php, mySQL etc - however, I'm keen to try to progress in that area if it's not too big a learning curve.
I assume I can get feeds from specific merchants for a range of their products but is there way to set things up to get updating prices for a site dealing with ONE specific product from various merchants?
Below are examples of a couple of other sites which are doing the sort of thing I've been doing - having read several posts on this forum from Affi Liate I suspect they may be his sites?

    http://www.prices2go.co.uk/compare/k...ratops-140.php

Are these sites having their prices updated automatically or are they likely to be updated manually through regular monitoring?
I have spent quite a bit of time reading and learning on this forum in recent months and have seen many favourable comments about Affilistore, for example, but I'm assuming this functions with feeds from a given merchant for a range of different products, and would not fit the bill for what I'm after?
Anyway, hopefully someone will be able to offer me some advice on the above.
    Thanks

    Wes

    their not Affi Liate sites

trouble is if you just want to price compare one item then theres a lot of data from the feeds to dis regard.

what you could do is set up a central price comparison site that down loads all the feeds and processes them and use that to pull what product u want to display on your other product specific site.
just depends what u can do yourself

    Hi,
Thanks for reply - much appreciated. I can see it may be a case of 'wishful thinking' on my part. I think I'll look into what you suggest. Also thanks for the PM.

    Hi,
Thanks for that - very reassuring. Maybe PriceTapestry is the way to go.
