I am pleased to release some new addons for the community Voucher Framework - a series of scripts to integrate with the feeds from POR, Promotions.co.uk and vouchers.im.
Download the files here.
To install, open each file and edit the password details for each feed at the top (vouchers.im has 2 files - you will need to edit them both), and just drop the files into your admin folder.
They all work in differnet ways...
voucher_POR.php - this loads codes straight from the POR feed into your framework DB - nice and simple.
voucher_promotions.php - this queries the promotions.co.uk xml feed and loads the codes into your DB. As with the vouchers.im feed below, because the feed does not contain affiliate links it will only register codes for merchants who already have a link registered.
voucher_im.php The vouchers.im feed works on a credit basis - you get 200 credits a day if you use the free service - enough to update 18 merchants a day if you are careful. For this reason you need to query merchants 1 by 1.
This file queries the vouchers.im merchant feed (costing 20 credits), and lists all merchants and the amount of codes for each one. This file will also create an entry in the merchants table for each new merchant with the thumbnail web address already registered.
Clicking a merchant will return the codes for a specific merchant (in a new window, costing 10 credits) and load them into the db. Because the feed does not contain affiliate links it will only register codes for merchants who already have a link registered (look for the merchants which say they have codes already in the db).
Notes
The nature of the promotions and vouchers.im feeds mean that the framework needs to already know the affiliate link for a merchant - if you set up an "offer" rather than a voucher that will work, so you could set up general links in the system for each merchant, and then use all the feeds to pull in the codes. My presonal system is set up to dump the codes without affiliate links into a seperate database so I can browse them at my leisure.
If I revisit the framework code in the future I will have a look at making this a bit easier and perhaps make it possible to define a default deeplink for each merchant.
Have fun, and merry christmas!

Thanks for this.
Been having a play and trying to integrate a promotions.co.uk feed into an AF Framework site, getting an error which i suspect is caused by the script trying to search / call the table 'unidentified' which is'nt currently setup in the db from a standard framework install...

Love to say I could help you but alas it's Christmas and most staff are away till Jan 5th.
If still an issue in the New Year then PM me.
Affiliate Future or any network, please don't ever release new code just before a weekend or a holiday. If it does not work properly then you look stupid....sorry AF but you look stupid.
Cheers and sorry
Doug
Code releases should still not happen before holidays unless you are going to be working through it.
I used to run projects in banks and that was always my mottoToo scary otherwise....ahhhhhh.....they went bust anyway
Doug
AF dont look stupid , if it worked straight away it would be boring , its just like my missus , it needs playing with for a bit before its ready to used![]()
will try it tomz
You never release anything into the real world when people will not be around to support it.
Our staff roll nothing out on Fridays/before holidays or when we have our busy days or weeks.
Doug
Ps Please don't do it again![]()
I don't roll out anything before I go into the village and into the pub on friday night - but I do roll home.
Great to see some scripts lowndsy, be looking at them soon. Thanks.

Merry Christmas everyone

Not tested yet but...
Here is the icodes feed which should be compatible with the original AF framework..
http://webservices.icodes.co.uk/af_f...llVoucherCodes
Next we will create a free login so you can make the feed unique to you, contains all affiliate links, deep links, your aff id's, tracking / click ref id's, your entered exclusive codes and only the merchants and networks you select.
Also unlimited usage and will be free, exisiting icodes users can use it straight away.
If someone can test the above feed on the AF framework site that would be great.

iCodes - Free Voucher and Offer API Available.
It is now fixed, the wrong file somehow made it into the zip.
Please remember that this is NOT an ongoing AF project - it was released into the community. I release updates on my own time, and have made available the code from my personal website.

Fine.
Just some extra advice....you also never mentioned this was not an AF project.
I would prefer you took our feed, but your call.
Doug
Anyone got this working with a promotions.co.uk feed yet? Even with the 'new' version of the importer file i'll still getting zeros.
