How much do the top "one man band" affiliates earn per month?

How much profit per month do you think the top "one man band" affiliates earn? (before tax).

This will give me something to aim for.

I know that many top one man (or woman) bands can generate thousands in sales every month per merchant. Having seen the stats it's amazing what affiliates can do to promote and how they do their promoting. The skill sets within the affiliate industry I believe just cannot be found elsewhere. There is such diversity and methods of promotion.

1) £20k profit per month
2) £30k profit per month
3) £40k profit per month
4) £50k profit per month
5) £75k profit per month
6) £100k plus profit per month

Just trying to get a feel for what a few of the top guys are earning so I can set a target.

I would say top earners have at least 100k in profits per month.

WOW!! £100k a month is pretty amazing for a one man band company. I need to up my game a bit to get near that.

Totally agree.

I know of affiliates earning £100k profit per month. Even £200k.

The majority have nice niches. Some are totally SEO but many spend £100k - £200k per month on PPC so you need to build up slowly to that sort of cash flow.

High profit margins per month are achievable without the use of PPC at all, just good quality content rich sites, that's what I do. Irrespective though, how much earnt per month as an individual is limitless, so just focus first on what you see is a realistic milestone, i.e. paying the bills, few luxuries etc.

i started off making a few a hundred a month

im now making 4 or 5 times my works salary from it!

just keep trying things and make sure you do them instead of talking/thinking about doing them! iv found a few things iv tried go down the pan, but it was worth the shot and now iv got about 5 or 6 revenue streams which all add up to a cooshti monthly pay (nowhere near 100k yet tho haha!)

I have a target and its not 100k a month although I know that is possible and with my plans could actually achive it.

I know of at least two affiliatea who achieve 100k/month as a minimum

Honestly I'd be happy with £1k a month! :tup (at least to start with...!)

at least we (newbies) know the potential and it is amazing...

I may be wrong but I think there are probably only handful of one man band affiliates making 100K PROFIT per month. That would be a business worth 1mln if sold.
Followed by quite a few with a TURNOVER of 100K a month.
Followed by loads who have MERCHANT SALES of 100K a month.

Its just like business always was - apparently lots of businesses with great turnovers, which is nice for the ego but means nothing until you get the profit figure.

There's lots of confusion around profit. That's why there's lots of sales directors chasing turnover, while their companies go bust.

Well, having just dropped out of work in December i'm going to give this affiliate marketing some serious attention this year. I'd be happy just to pay the bills at the moment so , expect me to be be asking a lot of questions on here in 2009 .
