I have visitors from all round the world searching on my AdSense Google search bar site - will their results display local results to them?

ie; If they put in takeaway or local garage will they get local results in US, Australia, India etc?

Yes. Merchants can chose what geographic locations their ads appear in, and google presumably uses geoIP wizardry to make that happen.

Correct. Goole will geolocate if you are using there products. Most of the "widget" type applications from affilaites do the same!:tup
