Can anyone suggest where I should post about charity affiliate marketing?

We look after the World Land Trust and if anyone is interested, we have a very successful programme running on Affiliate Future.

I'd also be interested in hearing any feedback from anybody else who runs affiliate programmes for charities.

On another note, we're looking at launching a commercial website for them, but I need some help with Adobe Flex. I'm not a designer/programmer.. so some of it is a little confusing!!

    Many thanks

    Giles

Hi Giles. Hope you are well.

We run several charity programs too on AF, such as NSPCC, Amnesty and Blue Cross, and you can promote your program in the AF section here. Also AF have a number of means to reach out to affiliates include their general affiliate newsletter, mailing existing affiliates on your program, and sending out a merchant news announcement.

Perhaps we can also swap tips about websites that promote charity affiliate programs. You are welcome to contact my colleague Karen who manages all our charity programs at karen [at] azam.net

I'm afraid I don't know anything about Adobe Flex.

Best of luck - World Land Trust do a lot of good work.

    Thanks for that.

I was just wondering if there should really be an A4U thread dedicated to charities rather than just me promoting the WLT programme under the AF thread.

The charity sector is one area which should really look at affiliate marketing more, especially as it would help us get the chuggers off the streets!

I strongly agree with you Garreck, its INCREDIBLY cost effective in comparison with other methods of charity fundraising. I've both managed programs in the space and promoted them as an affiliate and found it to be extremely beneficial from both sides. The "third sector" needs to look to the future in terms of fund raising methods and our industry offers a low risk high return solution.

To be fair you could use this thread more effectively e.g. it works quite well in the travel thread for http://www.affiliates4u.com/forums/t...es-thread.html .

Therefore all affiliate managers would post the latest offerings on this post and affiliates would have 'just the one' thread to check on a daily/ weekly basis.

Well in that case I better keep this thread at the top of the list, so that we can carry on talking about charity marketing then!

    Thanks Rob

I started the thread more to find out if people were interested in discussing charity affiliate marketing. Not sure I can promote other charities on my own client's website somehow!

We've been promoting World Land Trust on AF for a few years now, but I would be interested in any feedback from people as to other opportunities out there (apart from going on to other networks where I have to pay set up/monthly fees etc etc.. these are charities we're talking about!!).
