Just been reading some 'heated' replies to previous posts on the forum by gillianntony regarding Amazon aStore sites for sale.
I'm steering clear of the matter - but just want a bit of advice, if possible, on the aStore design style on one of the three latest sites for sale.
I already have a few Amazon aStores integrated into content-rich sites but would like to make them visually different from the standard aStore wizard option within Amazon of displaying items. My existing stores are the same as one of those being offered for sale in this post by gillianntony, namely Best-Pda-Store - Store
However I would like to adapt some of mine to display items to the same style on one of the other ones for sale, namely Photo Best Store - Home
Can anyone offer advice on what I need to do to achieve this format where the items show in a single vertical list, ideally with the images, description link etc displayed similarly? I can't see any obvious way to do this within the Amazon aStore builder facility.
    Thanks
    Wes

There were some heated answers in the past and these sites were bought in the present format
In response to the private messages we would take a lowest price of £30 for all 3 sites paid by paypal
The only reason for selling is that after selling we will have 5 UK Amazon sites and a monster Amazon USA site and we have no time to promote these sites
We have no other sites for sale after these go

afaik you can't. I'd guess that site uses the Amazon API - this enables you to set up any site in any way you like, but you need to code it all up yourself. In my epxerience stick to the widgets/astore unless you have a killer idea, changing the layout won't be the difference betweens nothing and millions a month! It will take a lot of effort for little return. Concentrate on building traffic first.

That previous thread pointed me to the ease of which you can create astore sites through amazon - so thanks for that. I'd suggest people give it a go themselves as it is very easy and you can prob think of some better domain names !

Edit, just read this and thought it might be useful to the above poster:

There are a few tips on styling astore here, that's about all you can do though!

Thanks for the reply jezaff. I thought that would be the case. I liked the format of the store at the site I referred to earlier in this thread - less 'bulky' looking than the standard store format. My coding experience etc is limited so I guess I'll stick with the traditional aStore format. Thanks again.

There are scripts that will access the amazon api for you. I have used Associate Engine (AE) :: Amazon.com Affiliate Script and like it as it is so flexible and easy to use within content as well as a list.

Thanks for that babrees. I've downloaded the demo script and will give it a try. Looks like it could be the solution I'm after.

best-pda-store is showing me my Amazon wish list.

I find that a bit spooky.
