My goal is simple:
$83,333.33 per month revenue
Inspired by a post on Shoey's blog, I just wondered if many have given themselves goals to strive towards in 2007?
Personally I am still making mine, trying to be realistic at the same time as giving myself a proper challenge, not where I can sit back and still achieve what I set out to do. Although it does seem like the easy option
Some of mine are similar to those found on Shoeys website;
- Do more experiments with PPC.
- Fine tune those PPC campaigns I am already running.
- Play more with different PPC engines other than MSN and Google.
- Build up and sell another website before 2007.
- Attend less 'Affiliate G2G' (maybe attend more but drink less and stay in less swanky hotels?)
- Attend Vegas Affiliate SummitAlready booked

-Make more money than 2006
-Improve ppc, do it properly and stop dabbling

-Sell or park other sites
-Make more money than 2006
-Work on other business activities
-Create more residual income streams

Make that in £'s
Not going to happen though
- I'm looking to set up something as a merchant just to spread the eggs and baskets, ideally would be nice to set it up and be able to get someone else to run it.
- Also would like to get to get one of my sites I started on 1st Jan 2006 to finally become an authority site. The site already has a few .gov sites linking to it.
- Make more that 2006.
- Create some more decent content sites.
- Maybe also to buy a house, although I'm still happy living at home with my mum and dad at the moment!
- Stay happy and healthy!
Cheers

To go to hospital less than the 46 times I have gone this year
To raise at least £100,000 for the Lymphoma Association
Sell off domain names that we are never going to develop
Revamp sites to all use our new CMS to make updating easier
Experiment more with ppc
Two major new 'hush hush' projects to come to fruition![]()
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
He, he, I will steal that one for my list then, I have so many that I might as well make something off selling a few, get offers all the time and if they are not great I just think, hey I could make more doing a site, but do I ever!Originally Posted by drivetowin

Work Smarter - Definitely Not Harder
just beginning to learn that I don't have to continually 'tinker' around with the main site - I can go on holiday, read a book, take Ollie fishing, cook the occasional meal and nothing catastrophic happens.
and I'm looking forward to seeing where we can take the retail site next year - that's extremely exciting.
oh soooo gonna enjoy Las Vegas
new house late spring - already started buying house style mags.
might even buy mesen a fishing rod (apparently I'm very good at casting - not caught 'owt yet though) and see if I can't land a bigger fish than Ollie!!
might even have a go at that there ppc
Goals for 2007 - enjoy, enjoy and enjoy (fingers crossed)

Staff up again
Double revenue
Increase profit by 50%
Do something that no-one else has thought of
Contribute to the industry
Spread more love
Same as last year, the year before, the year before that...
1. Earn enough to keep things running
2. Earn it as quickly as possible (preferably beating previous year)
3. Enjoy time between attaining (2) and writing this again next year.
4. Carry on not doing PPC
Jason
We've set our goals so this came easy :-
* Add 3 different industries to our portfolio ( ontop of retail and gaming which we already do )
* Add 3 more staff
* Achieve a consistent amount of profit per day by July so the company can achieve a 33% growth over this year

My goal is to get all up myself and refuse point blank to list any more merchants that stick massive phone numbers in my customers eyes. I can detail hundreds/thousands of sales over the year that have gone untracked and 2007 is gonna be the year these merchants have to fight a bit more to get on our pages.....
AJ electronics are on my hitlist for the 1st of January - Show some respect
Respect to Kitchen science for finally removing theirs - Nice show!
Nothing to see here...
www.preventx.co.uk plan is to stop PPC and focus on seo with the new site going live, get a few products stocked in Tesco or Boots etc, get big contracts from the home office, prisons etc get 25% revernue from affiliates. Sell-up in summer and go and site on a beach somewhere hot!
spend less time working.
cheers Tom
only got 2 biggies...
- Push affiliate turnover past in-house PPC for alpharooms.com to make it the main marketing channel
- Buy a house (could be being a big hopeful there, but hopefully not)
