You bet! But who is the one who buys them???
If a blog just like any other website is making or has the capability of making money, there should be a market to sell it. Take a look at this link http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=224477
The chap is selling permanent contextual blog posts for $30 a link as a Google PR boost. If you set up your blog and it has the potential of earning £xxx on a daily basis and even advertise it on this forum, you might get interested buyers.![]()
Read this interview from blog king himself - Darren Rowse with Duncan Riley, who sold his blog for US$72k.

To quote Duncan:
calculating the value of a blog, but you’d be looking at things like
- profit of the blog and potential profit
- how long the blog has been going
- traffic
- PR and links inwards, and its place overall in the blogosphere

Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
I'm building 5 niche blogs, but have only figured out the themes for 3 of them so far....![]()

- a review blog talking about anything from latest cameras to packaged holidays in Brazil with AF links embedded in blog posts
- Useful links section with AF links
- Extending a blog to an AF site
- Be an authority in whatever you are blogging about, get traffic and sign up CPM banner ad deals (long shot approach)
It has reached some tangents now.
Excellent thread!
It has taken me a while to get round to this whole arena, but I can see huge potential to add a blog onto Flightmapping (provisionally will be using flightblogging.com). In the meantime, I've just set up a personal blog, and will be adding some feedback from a couple of the sessions at SES yesterday over the next few days.
Just on a quick technical point - does anyone know how to break up a page using H2 tags, rather than just bolding the text? I am using the standard Wordpress editor.
