Hah, no sooner do I fix my ABW account, than I see this little gem :

New Buy.at forum at Abestweb (Abestweb is the US equivalent of A4U, if you've never come across it before)

It looks like they've got Andy Rodriguez (AffiliateDoctor, and top-notch AM talent) on point, so I'm expecting great things from them. I can see that Mal has been answering posts over there, so hopefully, he can spare us a few minutes over here in the grey, miserable old UK, and fill us in too.

(OK, so actually a YANK MF tipped me off this was going down, hence the account fix )

Congrats to the whole Buy.at team. Show 'em how it's done

    WOW you are quick mate

Its true our first steps into the US market were made tonight. Thanks for the best wishes its been something I have wanted to do for a few years now and so its great to finally get it going.

Right now the regions are not transferable but this will be done in the next couple of months and then opportunites will open up for both US and UK affiliates to cross promote.

Its an exciting time and I'm exhausted today - too much adrenalin

If anyone want any more info on this then just drop me a line

    Congratulations Mal

I know the US has been a market you have been wanting to break into for a long time.
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.

Guessed this would be happening soon after you sponsored a party over at the Summit. Congrats on the move

    Hi,

Are you accepting UK based affiliates on the network?

(Congrats. On launching in the US)

    Thanks,

    Hi Matt

The two networks will be merged in a couple of months then all the opportunties will be open.

Resource wasnt there to do this from day one and I didnt want to delay the launch with other things being in place.

Ill keep you posted along the way so you can plan for doors open .

Thanks for the best wishes everyone who has posted - for anyone new to the industry just keep plugging away dreams really can come true if you put the work in

Sorry to bump. Is it me or are there still no US affiliates on buy.at? I know it was something that was coming soon... just wondered how soon as I'd not heard anything since (or are we talking just open to the US, not aim at US affiliates)?

Most of the US activity happens on ABW, which is a more US focussed board. A4U is aimed squarely at the UK market
