- Live on Google Checkout page but have not yet confirmed it’s the same tracking code that is used with UK Merchants as well as US Merchants. (note: that some networks use different tracking codes depending in the area of the world your from, the list on Google Checkout page is the same for USA and UK, so we need to know it’s set up to work in both countries and not just USA).

The tracking code we use is the same in the UK and the US, as such AF tracking should work for UK merchants using Google Checkout.

No, as far as I am aware we don’t have any live US or UK programmes running with Google Checkout tracking. We have been working with a few of our merchants who are integrating Google Checkout into their sites but currently none are up and running (due to issues with the checkout in general rather than anything regarding integrating our tracking).

I guess they are saying should because it is one thing to be approved working but it's another for the Merchant to remember to add the Network tracking in and test that it’s working.

Paid On Results is now an Approved Vendor for Google Checkout, we got the email in last night confirming this. Merchants can use Paid On Results tracking immediately in conjunction with Google Checkout however it will be a little while longer before they update the list.

Note to any Paid On Results Merchant: If you are thinking about adding Google Checkout to your site please contact us so we know about it, as it should be fully tested before going live.

We can now confirm that Affiliate Window has been approved by Google for the checkout.

We have run a test transaction and everything tracked fine.

For our part I do want to publicly apologise to both Gadgets.co.uk, Findmeagift and their affiliates regarding the poor communication from Affiliate Window. Whilst I still maintain that Google would have taken as long as they have, highlighting these difficulties in more detail would have allowed both of these merchants to potentially delay their launch whilst the situation was resolved.

It is unfair to highlight that these merchants did something on purpose when they have had established affiliate programmes for some time and have never given any indication of being disrespectful to their affiliates.

I am available if anyone would like to discuss this further.
