  Merchants that leave unpaid commissions

Have had a quick look around but cannot find this for this instance....

It does not effect me but i had had some sales last year with this merchant but they leave AW and unpaid commissions are now getting deleted.

Why does this happen.?

Hi,

This program is now closed on Affiliate Window. Despite our efforts to reconcile all transactions on this program, the merchant has left some transactions pending which will now be removed from the system.

We apologize for the delay in resolving these transactions. Should you have any further queries don't hesitate to contact us at the details below.

Kind regards,

Affiliate Window Support

The email came from another source highbarn consulting.com but surely someone should pay the commissions or hold the merchant accountable, afterall affiliates work work to get them sales, just to have them deleted off the system because the merchant will not accept them is wrong,

I have had two emails like this this week, lucky both dont effect me but im sure others are losing money after ppc and the like.

Does anyone have any comment, does it effect you, can you do anything about it,??

I would have to agree, there have been an influx of emails recently from AW alerting us to these.

I would like these to remain on the system. Also ascertain exactly what efforts any networks have done to receive payement, can't a small claim placed by the network acheive this or do networks have weak contracts yet again.

One difference is that we have been alerted from the network, whereby in some other instances it's not so obvious or they disappear without trace.

Do a netwrok or two have automated validation after a certain number of days?

Re: Merchants that leave unpaid commissions

I got the same email regarding Inkcycle - I had asked for couple of pendings to be removed or deleted because they had been there for almost a year and were annoying me.
I thought the email was just to me, in response to my support ticket, rather than a bulk email.

The thing which is worrying me is that another (still live) merchant on AW has a habit of leaving random sales pending for a long time, but they clear up eventually - now I'm not so sure if they are approved or deleted without trace.
