Does this mean that the rest of the shop direct group who use the same link architecture will be changing soon?
Hi guys,
Please see below for some information on a new website structure for Marshall Ward.
New URLs
The Marshall Ward website structure is changing.
Why we are doing this?
Shop Direct Group is moving towards a new web platform. Quite simply this is to allow us to continue to be one of the UK’s leading online retailers.
When are we doing this?
The changes will be take place on June 19th, 2009.
What this means for you as a Marshall Ward affiliate.
For those who create their own deeplinks:
If you have created your own deeplinks to the Marshall Ward website you will need to change them all to the new format.
If you hardcode your banners and text links you will need to update these so as to ensure all your sales remain tracked.
Rest assured, the format of our new URLs is much simpler than the present format and will allow affiliates to create their own links easily and quickly. We will provide complete guidance on the new format nearer the time allowing you to create the links in advance of the change.
For those who use dynamically served banners and text links:
If you use dynamically served banners and text links then you will NOT need to make any changes.
Thank you for your continued promotion of the Marshall Ward brand.
If you have any questions of course, please feel free to contact either buy.at or Shop Direct Group.
Kind regards,

Hi MrBishi,
Thanks for your query.
We will be changing all of our sites' architecture as you suggest, but as yet, we do not have firm dates confirmed.
We will of course announce changes in advance and nearer the time.
Thanks
Jonathan
