mrbishi,
Are you sure about that?
A fine thought...and actually what it was initially setup for...
However several pieces of the program have changed since its inception. That said, we DO now pay commission as long as the cookie persists. Regardless of the number of purchases, you get get paid.
We are having the recurring NO removed, a very nice catch Lemley, thanks for the help.

mrbishi,
Are you sure about that?
Already addressed and has been that way for a while...just never got changed in that spot.
If you look at that same page you showed me earlier you are good to go.

Hey Great,
I just saw it says, yes but are you sure, its been there for a while because, I noticed that because one of my neighbour purchased couple of tickets from the link few days ago and I only get credited for one sale.. So, are you sure, its been there before or it has been implemented on the system at back-end? Can you please confirm for me and let me know? Thanks a lot.
Hi Lemley,
The issue with 'Recurring Events' appearing as 'no' in our management area was purely a display issue; it's actually just some text and not connected to how our tracking actually worksThis programme is definitely tracking with recurring sales.
With respect to the purchase you mentioned, I would suggest contacting Charlie with details of the sale you think hasn't been credited; I'm certain he'll be able to help you out.

If thats the case and you are sure about it, I am okay with itSomething might be wrong with my neighbour then..
Also, just to clarify the person made 10 sales in a 30 day cookie period, without cookie being overwrite, I will be credited for all the 10 sales even if the link has been followed only once.. Correct?

Thanks man believing on your words, I counter check with one of my friend who is TM (US) affiliate as well, he also support my argument and said that TM (US) doesn't pay for sale more than once on one cookie.. ??? He said, I have tested - Anyways, if possible, can you please confirm this for me? So, we can check, if something is wrong with us? Also, if you can please confirm that TM (US) has 30 day cookie and not less and its not a display issue, because that might be the case of the sale not being recorded.. Can you please check the two things and confirm me.. Please, I am very grateful. Thanks.
I don't want to be a pain and sorry about that..
also, this URL still have Recurring events NO (TM UK) but it might be because there cookie days is session only. https://users.buy.at/ma/index.php/af...Details/id/825
I'm looking at this from a technical perspective (I'm lead software engineer at buy.at) and so my information is based on the data we have for this programme and our software, and according to these things the cookie period for this programme is indeed 30 days and recurring sales are indeed honoured. These details represent the intentions of buy.at and the programme. That said, it's not outside the realms of possibility that some sales that you think should have been attributed to you were not for a variety of reasons, though we do everything we can to ensure that that does not happen. If a fault does lie at our end with respect to attribution of a sale then we will definitely correct it.
Being a techie I'm not sure how to reassure you beyond thatAs I said if you do believe there is a problem with some of your sales not being accredited then please do get in touch with the details of these sales.

Consider me the business side to Sproates's tech side.
I too can support that our system and agreement with TM is to pay for all transactions in the 30 day window, until such time as the cookie dies or is overwritten.
Hey,
Great to know that but I guess, your support is not aware of this fact, as along with this post, I posted a support email to buy.at and this is what I received:
In the case of a non recurring cookie only one sale in the cookie period will be paid commission
This is an industry standard
Anyways, obviously, I believe you, as you have checked and have appropriate authorities to make an statement.. Thanks for your support, you should provide support to your support staff as well :P Just kidding, thanks a lot guyz, I might ping you again, if I have any questions. Thanks.
Lemley,
That looks like we might have a training issue, please can you forward me the response that you received so that I can see who that was from?
email me at paul.newton@buy.at and I will review this for you.
regards

Thanks for that, I will follow up on that one for you.
Apologies for the confusion.
