Hi Lemley,
I'm confused because you're asking two different things on two different threads.
On this thread: "Does Ticketmaster US have recurring sales?" Yes it does.
On the other thread: "Do non-recurring programmes pay out multiple sales for the same cookie?" No they don't.
Hope that helps!

I was told by Charlie that Recurring Events thing is finished altogether.. And it was just a display issue????
However several pieces of the program have changed since its inception. That said, we DO now pay commission as long as the cookie persists. Regardless of the number of purchases, you get get paid.
We are having the recurring NO removed, a very nice catch Lemley, thanks for the help.
i think what the confusion is here between what recurring events are and whether they are in place on the ticket master (us) program.
Recurring events means that if you drop a cookie and it is NOT overwritten then you will get sales on ANY purchases made my that customer during the cookie duration.
HOWEVER if there are no recurring events then then regardless of the cookie length you will only get paid for the FIRST purchase.
What seems to be the case is that the Ticket Master US program USED to be non recurring but then they CHANGED it to recurring and forgot to update the program info page.
So from what Buy.at have said, you can be sure that as long as your cookie is NOT over written then you WILL get recurring sales within the 30 days on the Ticket Master US program.
Hope this clears up your confusion
I have asked Gregory (TicketMaster US) programme manager about this and this is what he said,
Hello,
No, it does not. It states that in the management area.
Thank you,

But the account page, says 'Recurring Events as YES' on TM (US) Program details page.
Hi There
I have updated the other thread: http://www.affiliates4u.com/forums/b...ng-events.html

Hey,
Just a quick question, TicketMASTER affiliate link seems to be redirecting at Ticketmastervip.com.. Whats the heck? Does we receive comiissions for sales on both the website, or only ticketmaster.com or what???
Lemley,
Can you please provide your contact, Greg, with some sample code you are using? We are not seeing this anywhere else and want to isolate the issue as quickly as possible.

Hey, just a quick question.. i saw some "Tool - TicketExchange" sales in my account sometime ago and I receive 7% commission on them but now, I don't saw any of these, I was told by my friend that Ticketsnow.com and ticketmaster has separates their programs thats why it is not giving 7% commission on these sales anymore, is that true?? Also, what does this exactly mean "Tool - TicketExchange", where did the tickets get sold ?? Is it on the normal website or somewhere else??
There are a couple questions here -
Tool - TicketExchange : is a ticket that was sold thru TicketExchange, a TM subsidiary. Sometimes tickets bought on the TM site are re-routed thru to TicketExchange or TicketsNow, where the tickets are available. These tickets are paid a higher commission as you stated, 7%, as they are secondary tickets.
It is true that TicketsNow has its own program but that program is not directly incorporated into TM program. Some tickets are sold thru TM but not the whole of the TicketsNow program.
A Ticketmaster affiliate does not have access to what tickets are and are not available on TicketsNow or TicketExchange. On occasion tickets become available and when they do they are sold thru the primary TM site and its links.
As to why the previous sales are no longer available, odds are you were already paid for them and they are in a previous month. Have you looked at older reports?

Thanks for your reply..
Do you mean that TicketsNow commission will still be available to TM, as before or something has changed in the past month? Let me know. Thanks.
When TicketsNow chooses to work directly with TM and sell its tickets thru TM they will be available. That said, there is no absolute as to when or where these TN tickets will be available on TM.
There is no commission change on TicketsNow tickets sold on TM at this point. They are still worth a 7% commission.

Oh okay, so do you mean TicketsNow owner (or website operator) has the right to list there tix on TM and (similar to all the other purchases) it gets done on TicketMaster on same form but if the tickets are ticketnow's, we'll receive 7% commission.. Is that correct ? Or I missed something? Let me knwo. Thanks.
you have it straight...it goes thru the standard TM channels and if it is a TN sale you get 7%.
let me know if you have any other questions...
