    Can someone please advise me.

I have an Asda Groceries sale that is set as pending, with a quantity of 59 but no commision value.

Ive read that the default CPA is £5 for groceries, so I assumed this should be showing.

    Am I correct?

I believe they are batch processed once a month. I think I saw that on the merchant info page.

Does that mean the sale will show, but the commission will not untill it is processed?

    Hi all,

I am the affiliate manager at Asda.com and would like to apologise for any confusion caused by our grocery programme.

Grocery payments are made each month in a batch process. The orders you see in the Buy.At Management area are ALL grocery orders placed by any customer with an affiliate cookie. Only a small proportion of these orders qualify for commission, as we only pay £5 for a brand new customer and not for customers that have previously placed an order with Asda.

In this way the sale will show, but commission will always remain at 0. Once the qualifying orders are identified - Buy.At insert the order numbers and the commission in to the Buy.At Management Area.

If you have any other queries, please contact Eline, our account manager at Buy.At on eline.ilag@platform-a.com

    Cheers,
    Bevan

    Hi bmortim

    Thankyou for the clarification.

Im glad I dont promote Asda groceries directly, I expect it would be difficult to get regular income from.

Ive been thinking about Asda groceries since i posted the above reply earlier.

Since you only get paid for new customers, has anyone managed to earn regular commision from asda groceries?

Oh and how often do Asda or Buy.at provide voucher codes?

    Hi Dazza30,

In answer to your question, Asda generally have free delivery codes available. However, it is in our terms and conditions that affiliates are not allowed to use them to promote grocery home shopping, unless given explicit permission from either Asda or Buy.At.

    Cheers,

    Bevan

There are a number of affiliates that promote Asda grocery succesfuly - through using copy about the Asda Home Shopping service. Through promoting our special offers and just the fact that Asda have won the Award as Britain's Lowest priced supermarket for the 12th year running.

We are currently in the middle of moving to a new platform for our customers. Once this is complete we should have new methods for affiliates to use that will help drive new customers and win you that much deserved commission.

If you have any other queries, please feel free to ask.

    Cheers,

    Bevan

    Hi henry01,

    We do offer a tiered commission on photos on the ASDA programme;

    • 0 – 10 = 7.5%
    • 11 – 70 = 10%
    • 71 – 150 = 15%
    • 150+ = 20%

If you could send me your buy.at handle I can have a look into this for you.

    Thanks,

    Eline Ilag
    Account Manager
    buy.at
