Could somebody at Mobiles.co.uk's affiliate program pls explain the new " Call our sales team on...Request a callback "banners on your site:




Every now and then we need to remind you, the merchants what the phone numbers on your sites means for our commissions...

Please accept my apologies, this should never happen.

We have recently deployed a series of changes to our site, new phone number banners being one of them. It looks as though something has been triggered to make these show on referred traffic aswell as organic.

As soon as I get to the office tomorrow I will make sure this is removed for the publish.

At Mobiles.co.uk we take our affiliates and their contribution to the programme extremely seriously. I can assure you that we would have never knowingly allowed this to have happened.

Yes, thanks for the response, as I also get very put off affiliate programmes by merchants showing phone numbers. I look forward to the phone number disappearing for affiliate referrals.

Providing you are taking the affiliate links as displayed in our feed then the phone number should not show. If it does show then there may be a problem with the way that you have constructed your link.

There's no problem with your feed's links, it's just the deep links constructed with your deep link builder. The phone appeared again just yesterday. I'll send you an email with one of my deep links.
