Is anybody else annoyed and embarrassed by bestbuy's zero commission policy for click & collect sales? Its incredibly disheartening to see you've sold a grands worth of laptop for them and then to see a big fat zero in the commission column.

Whats more, on a number of occasions i've seen a sale being tracked with a positive commission and then minutes later another sale from the same user (according to my own tracking) for the same value but this time with zero commission. What i assume is happening here is that they make the purchase for a delivery and then notice that they can pick up from store and therefore make a click & collect purchase and then cancel the original, meaning that commission will get declined. At least i hope thats what's happening and its not something more fishy.

So wouldn't it be nice if BestBuy could honour us for the sales we create for them? We have no way of controlling whether we send them customers who want to have the product delivered or to pick it up from store so i see no reason why we should not get remunerated for all sales we create for them. Yes, there may be higher decline rates for click & collect as people don't always pick the goods up but at least that's a more transparent system!

It certainly would be nice but you would find that most click and collect orders aren't even collected - you'd probably then be upset that all your orders were being cancelled

I'll speak to the AM and ask Best Buy to review their policy.

Thanks Edwyn. Its only the same as Comet, and yes you see greater declines but its better than nothing!!
