Where about's can I find a data feed for merchant descriptions?

Does Icodes have this hooked in some how?

Hi,

You can view the description of merchants from their profile pages or use the filter within the search programs area to search for specific merchants within a certain sector.

Log into Darwin the go here : Affiliate Marketing OR you can use the API to extract merchant descriptions.

Be warned though Affiliate Window exercise little control over what merchants include in their descriptions - you will find loads of irrelevant, pointless and out of date info in quite a lot of them whilst others are one liners but there are some reasonable descriptions in there. Such a shame that AW do not seem to explain to all merchants how this data field is supposed to be used to convey info about the merchant's core business message to CUSTOMERS and not AFFILIATES!

I don't mind writing a bit of content but something like this for every merchant would be a full time job:

Yes, of those who have merchant descriptions then most do but the majority of code sites do not include merchant descriptions. No one said it was easy.
