EAN Search for Affiliate Window

Not all but many merchants have EANs in their product data at affiliate window.

It is a pitty that these are not usable for e.g. price comparison.
EAN searches using API return unusable results at present.

I feel that this is a "vicious circle". Why should merchants supply EANs if there is no use for that? Affiliate window argues, there are not enough EANs to provide this search feature...?

We would love to integrate price comparison with our commercial price comparison / shopping script. We already integrated affiliate window, but would require an option to search EANs only.

Happy to discuss some potential solutions with you but you're indeed correct that it's not currently possible to query the API using EAN (it may be possible in the future though).
