A challenge for the technically minded - ShopWindow Toolset - need help will pay

Hi,

I am installing the ShopWindow Toolset onto my site.

When a user buys a product, say for £10, and i make £1.

I want 50p of that profit to go to charity and to be displayed on a funding calculator on the homepage.

Does anyone out there no how to make the script do this?

I will pay for the solution

I am sure the man is out there.

You should be able to use the affiliate service
Affiliate Marketing

Basically you can query it every 30 minutes or whatever grab your latest transactions and update your counter.

You'll need a skilled developer who understands things like APIs, Web Services, SOAP, WSDL etc.

There is a ShopWindow forum at:

but it's gone a bit quiet.

A few developer types hang out at acorndomains.co.uk.

If AW allow you to get your stats via xml or soap then you simply just half your earning total to display on the site

Hi daveo171,

As already mentioned, the Affiliate Service (reporting) API sounds like your best bet here. Your account will however need to be enabled to use this API. To request this you can either raise a support ticket from within your AW account or alternatively drop an email to: technicalservices@affiliatewindow.com with your details.
