    Hello,

I remember a few weeks ago I heard that the links from buy.at wont need changing to use with AW.

But I am pretty sure I got an email last week about needing to change links over to the new AW links.

Anyone know if I can leave the current buy.at links as they are ?

Someone from Buy or AW will no doubt be along to confirm soon, but my understanding is that buy.at links will continue to work.

I'm wondering if the email you're referring to is about a programme migration. For example, the o2 programme is leaving the Buy.at platform and migrating to AW. Affiliates need to sign up to o2 at AW and change links for o2 over to the AW format.

Could you be referring to a merchant-specific migration?

Actually the email I got was o2.

So that's the only link I'll need to change maybe?

    Hi all,

Apologies if there has been any confusion.

The O2 programme is migrating in the normal was from buy.at to Affiliate Window so affiliates do need to change links. This is mainly due to us launching more O2 programmes on Awin than there are on buy.at, as we have broken them down by main product types to allow more insights per product such as conversion rate and EPC. Therefore we are unable to use the Centralised Tracking System (CTS) to move the programmes. The CTS is the functionality that means affiliates do not need to change links - but simply map your buy.at and Awin accounts together.

There may be a select few further programmes that we need to migrate in the same way and ask affiliates to change links, however this will always be to improve the programme set up where we don't think a like for like migration would benefit the programme long term. We will endeavour to be clearer in the future about whether the migration is using the CTS system or not, however the vast majority will be.

To be involved in all CTS programme migrations, affiliates simply need to map your buy.at and Awin accounts together so we know where to transfer your sales to. You do this via your buy.at management area in the 'Affiliate Window' section. Simply select 'mappings' and add in your Awin ID where prompted.

You only need to map once to enable your sales to be transferred for all CTS migrations, however you can select different Awin accounts as we migrate each programme and overwrite your default mapping if you prefer.

If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to get in touch.

    Many thanks,

    Roz
