Why don't you grow a pair of Gonads with reference to merchants restricting affiliates from including brand names within the sub folder directory structure or sub domains of affiliates own websites. Simply tell the merchant to Foxtrot Oscar.

I can understand merchants wishing to restrict subdomain usage because of the false impression that MAY be created but to restrict subdirectory usage does seem somewhat strange. Perhaps, merchants should be required to openly disclose this via say the tickbox approach in Darwin?

Or can we create a list of the merchants with such restrictive policies?

It would be a conversation going around in circles from years ago and not worth wasting ones breath. If it is your own website sod what anyone elses says. Would you let a stanger in your own home and rearrange your furniture?

The industry has got to a stage where it has become futile even engaging in discussion & better focusing ones attentions to servcing ones family & own needs.

With you on that one Paul. I remember when it would kick off (and rightly so) if a retailer placed a big phone number on a product page that was fed with publishers traffic, now many are doing whatever they like with Laskys and Kitchen Science even having their own price comparison site on the product page which I feed from my price comparison site and everyone I complain to seems to think that it is OK. I need to slap myself around the face (no hit myself on the head with a hammer) for letting myself have the pee taken out of me as badly as I do.
