Is it just me or are these "mappings" getting confusing ?

There's still a few offers ( t mobile, Giffgaff) that aren't listed on my AW account. I thought all of this would be sorted by now.

What's even weirder is that when I search for these merchants on AW nothing comes up so I can't even apply for them?

I've now got a dead link from O2 as well, it's a complete mess

    Hi simsforfree,

    Thanks for your post

I have copied some of the FAQ's from a communication we are due to put live later this week. Hopefully this will help explain the process a little bit better.

In terms of answering your questions:

The programmes are not visible on Affiliate Window until a migration is complete, which is why you can't see T-Mobile and Giff Gaff at the moment.

There are three phases to an account migration and a programme will only become live when it enters Phase Three. This will be communicated to affiliates via e-mail and each individual migration status is visible through your Management Area in either the Notice section when you first log-in or in the "Affiliate Window" section in the left hand navigation pane. Until this phase, all reporting will remain on the buy.at system.

However, there is no reason to change links or reapply to the programme - we will do all this for you. The object of the Centralised Tracking Service (CTS) is to minimise the amount of work involved for affiliates as we appreciate how tiresome programme migrations can be.

Due to the volume of accounts we are migrating from buy.at to Affiliate Window we have inevitably decided to stagger the process so that we don't overwhelm affiliates and our clients. Therefore each month a "batch" of accounts will be added to the CTS migrations and a communication will be sent out to all participating affiliates to inform them that this migration is due to take place.

O2 is a separate issue though. They have moved across to Affiliate Window without the aid of the CTS so, in this instance, you will need to reapply to the AW programme. If you wish to contact the Account Manager then please drop Simon an e-mail.

Here are some common FAQ's, just in case anyone else is having trouble with their mappings. I understand that this is a confusing process but we are trying to make this as simple and as easy as possible for affiliates. As I am sure you can appreciate; this is a considerably large task!

Please let me know if you - or anyone else - have any queries. My contact details are below

    CTS Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Centralised Tracking Solution (CTS)?[/B]

The Centralised Tracking Solution (CTS) is technology that Digital Window has built to make programme migrations from buy.at to Affiliate Window easier.

It allows a programme on buy.at to migrate to Affiliate Window with the minimal amount of fuss as affiliates do not need to change any links that exist on their websites.

    How does it work?

The CTS relies on affiliates “mapping” their buy.at and Affiliate Window accounts together. This “mapping” creates a relationship between the two networks and enables the CTS to report your statistics in your Affiliate Window interface once a migration is completed.

What do I need to do?

    • You do not need to change links – we will do the hard work for you
    • If you have already mapped your accounts then you don’t need to do anything!

What happens if I don’t map my accounts?

    • If you don’t map your accounts then you will need to change your links as normal to continue to promote
    • This can only happen once a migration has been completed (see When can I access the programme on Affiliate Window?)
    • We therefore recommend you take advantage of the mapping solution which does the hard work for you

When will a migration be completed?

A CTS migration should only take 30 days.

A communication will be sent out for each programme to request all affiliates to map their buy.at and Affiliate Window accounts together.

If you have already mapped your accounts then you don’t need to do anything!

When can I access the programme on Affiliate Window?

There are three phases to a CTS Migration. Only when a migration enters into Phase Three will you be able to access the programme on Affiliate Window.

Each step of the migration will be clearly communicated to you via e-mail and through your buy.at Management Area.

Each stage of a migration will be detailed in the notice section when you first log in to your account. In addition, you can also follow the migrations in the “Affiliate Window” section in your Management Area.

Click “Affiliate Window” on the left hand navigation bar, then “Mappings” in the drop down menu. A list of programmes and their various migration statuses are then clearly displayed.

Do I need to do anything on my site?

The CTS is designed to ensure that affiliates don’t have to change any of their links. Just make sure you have created your mappings and we’ll handle the rest!
