We have currently had as much traffic as same time last bank holiday weekend (that was same as Xmas) but our site now looks out of date due to DSG taking sites down during busy times???

They all seem down now also, currys, dixons and pc world (5pm)
Why no email to 'everyone' who promotes any of these sites to let them know all sites are down, people are spending money on ppc traffic also who will be unaware that these sites have been down for practically all of a Saturday, because nobody gets any sort of email to tell them!
Sincere apologies for this. Had we known about the downtime we would have contacted everyone. I can only imagine this was unplanned. I'll do my best to try and find some more information but all our contacts won't be working today so it's tricky for us to try and sort this out.
There's a strong chance we won't be able to provide any answers until Monday but we'll do all we can.

Dixons Retail pass on their apologies for the downtime that was experienced over the weekend.
The downtime was unplanned and was due to an unforeseen error in a database update. The technical team worked over the weekend to resolve this. Whenever there is planned site downtime we will ensure to notify our affiliates with reasonable warning. However, in this case, the downtime was not planned so it was not possible to do so.
The sites functionality has now been restored and we will keep you updated of any potential issues. Again, sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused.
