Please would it be possible to ensure that the daily KGB Feed contains all the daily deals.. normally pulling the feed today will fetch deals up to yesterday.. Todays deals will be fetched tomorrow..

I have spoken to all agencies concerned on many occassions but to no avail.. I accept that it may not be an affiliate window problem but they should make sure it comes in correctly..

I am not able to understand why it works so efficiently from groupon (with some cleaning up by the icodes team) to ensure it arrives on websites as soon as it is available.. yet can't be done on kgb deals..

At present, if they are entered they need to be done manually, so that one day of expired deals is taken out and a massive cleanup of the data it fetches..

Following our earlier discussions about the problem I e-mailed you on the 23rd of September asking if the situation had improved. I am obviously not sure that you received this given your comments here.

At present the the feed is pulled after midnight - which captures the new deals (which start at Midnight) and is then available from AWIN at about 1.30 am.

I have not had feedback regarding issues from other affiliates, however I am concerned that we are unable to find a satisfactory solution for yourself.

To this end I have spoken with GoldenFeed who are looking into this. I would be very grateful if you would call me - 07841 628338 and I will arrange a 3-way conversation to resolve the issue one way or the other.

Yes, we have spoken and no, its not improved.. I have spoken to Awin and yourself on many occassions.. Awin most recently.. I was told they would ring back but in honesty and fairness to Roxy, she may have done that.. but for personal reasons, I can't be here all the time..

I believe that we have different views as to why it's pulling incorrectly.. I know that some affiliates want them earlier but I believe that's not possible.. if the feed isn't ready at the time that you pull it, then it pulls yesterdays..

In the beginning I spoke to Hannah about it, she looked at the feed and agreed what was happening.. she changed the time to 4.30am sometimes it caught the feed, others it missed.. but then she left the company.. Since then the feed has been fetched earlier to just after midnight, possibly to please the affiliates who want it early.. but that was the wrong direction..

I think it would be a good idea to look at the feed to see what is happening, I'm not an experienced progammer but most would be able to read it..

I would suggest that you look at the feed as it is now, then re-pull it and compare it.. the one you get now, will be the one that will be pulled tomorrow morning, a day late.. That's if my theory is correct..

I take that back.. today's are still yesterday's..

This could be that the create-a-feed went down last night.. it must have gone down after groupon was collected and before KGB.. yesterday's create-a-feed are still there.. the groupon are now on all the icodes sites as the kgb should be..

Hi Barbara,

Create-a-feed went down last night meaning it defaulted to the previous upload. Hence in this instance we are missing the new deals and there are expired ones showing. The new feed is now being uploaded.

This however does not in itself solve your problem, my colleague Mark has e-mailed you requesting that you contact him and hopefully things can be resolved to your satisfaction moving forward.

Hi Mark and Bruce..

Just to let you know that I received the feed correctly at 6.30am this morning.. I'm not sure of the exact time but was somewhere between 5am and 6.30am..

Thank you and Affiliate Window for the help in solving the problem.. and ensuring that I received the correct feed until the problem was solved..
