Hi Nick
bit more discussion here: Marks & Spencer now 0% Commission on Technology
Heads up everyone -- in the busiest selling period of the year, M&S have this week moved to 0% commission on Electricals and Household Appliances without any notification to affiliates.
We only picked this up because of the Affwin automatic commission change notifications.
Not impressed![]()
Hi Nick
bit more discussion here: Marks & Spencer now 0% Commission on Technology
Hello Nick
Please see below information regarding the commission change and the reason for why this was implemented. Please feel free to contact me if you need further clarification.
After a commission group review, Marks & Spencer have discovered affiliates have been paid commissions for products and categories that should have always been excluded. This includes technology sales, as the margins for Marks & Spencer on these products are almost non-existent.
This error has been ongoing for a long period of time, so when the discovery was made, unfortunately the commissions had to be changed immediately.
Please see confirmation of the products/categories M&S do and do not pay commissions on:
Commission is rewarded on the following product categories:
Womenswear, Menswear, Lingerie, Kidswear, Home Furniture, Flowers and Gifts, Wine (*20% on Wine Plans), Entertainment.
*Commission for Wine Plans will be tracked at 5%/3% in the Affiliate Window system and the full 20% commission total will be awarded manually at validation stage.
Please note commissions will not be paid on the following:
Made to Measure Shirts, Marks and Spencer Energy, Marks and Spencer Money, Marks and Spencer Travel Money, Marks and Spencer Travel Insurance, Gift Cards/Gift Vouchers, Technology, Household Electricals, Large Appliances, Personalised Cards, Gift Experiences, Lunch to Go, Food to Order
If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact
elaine.wan@affiliatewindow.com
Kind regards
Elaine
