    I got this email today:

"Yesterday, a 30 day notice email was sent out regarding Bravissimo's migration to the Affiliate Window platform. This email has already been sent out previously and should not have been sent yesterday, apologies if this has caused any confusion.

Bravissimo is now live on Affiliate Window. From today all sales will be tracked in the Affiliate Window account you nominated through the mapping process."

When I search merchants, joined or all, in AW, Bravissimo doesn't appear. So is Bravissimo actually on Affiliate Wiondow yet or not?

I'd also be interested to know from other affiliates how Bravissimo has performed this year compared to previous years.

Ever since the new website went live in early 2011, conversions have tanked for me. I have raised the issue several times with Buy.at, but nobody seems to know why.

Is it just me who has seen conversion rates drop from around 3% to 0%?

Looking at my last approx. 10,000 clickthroughs sent to Bravissimo, the conversion rate is 0.22%. Same period last year, the conversion rate was 3.11%.

    Hi,

Bravissimo are now live on Awin, and if you try searching for them again they will appear. There may have just been a delay in the system. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

In regards to Bravissimo's performance, I will flag this up with the account manager who will be able to help you with this. She is currently out of the office but will be returning early next week.

Meanwhile, if you have any other problems, please feel free to contact me directly at kathryn.shaw@buy.at.

    Many thanks,
    Kathryn

Thanks Kathryn - it is now showing.

Will be interested to see the conversion rate when it appears.

I have already flagged the poor conversion issue several times with the account manager so no point doing it again.

Also just noticed that banner promoting Bravissimo's Pepperberry range say "shop Pepperberry.com today" . . .

    From bad to worse!

Have raised a support ticket regarding this.

    Hi Entrepreneur

    I hope you are well.

I would like to introduce myself as Team Leader on the Bravissimo programme.

Are you available for a quick call this afternoon to discuss the points you raised below? My number and direct email address is 020 7553 2431, william.goff@buy.at

It terms of responses and flagging this with the account manager, I will catch up with the AM when they are back from annual leave and find out why there has been a delay. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
You also mentioned the banners for Pepperberry, which is an extension of the Bravissimo programme, commission is therefore awarded on the products. If there are any banners you are missing please feel free to contact me (I am on annual leave until the 28th from the end of today or the account manager (Davinder.bansil@buy.at who is back on Monday). In the mean time Kat will also be able to assist.

If you could give me a call so we can into further depth regarding the conversion issue you raised as well, I am not aware of any conversion rate problems on the programme.

    Thanks

    Hi Will,

I've got to say I'm surprised by the response to the banners issue. I've just seen the reply to the support ticket saying much the same.

The banners don't just mention Pepperberry the brand they say "shop PEPPERBERRY.COM today". Bravissimo are therefore using banners to advertise a site that as far as I'm aware is not a merchant. Traffic will inevitably be lost via such banners.

I also know that the banners click through to Bravissimo, but this is no different to merchants who use banners to tell customers to phone them. They click through too.

I've raised the conversion rate issue several times now since September with the account manager. You say you are not aware of any conversion rate problems so I can only assume it is only me who has seen conversions fall dramatically.

    Hi Entrepreneur,

    I hope you're well.

Will is now out of the office until after Christmas so I wanted to pick this up and also apologise for the late response.

Pepperberry is part of the Bravissimo site and so commission is paid on Pepperberry products as part of the Bravissimo affiliate programme. You'll see if you go to Pepperberry.com, you are redirected to the Bravissimo.com site on which Pepperberry products are available. You can add Bravissimo and Pepperberry products to the same basket.

I hope this clears up the confusion, but please feel free to give me a call on 0207 553 2462 or email me on rebecca.riches@buy.at if you would like to discuss further.

I'd also like to take a closer look in to the conversion rate issue you mentioned, so if you could kindly drop me a quick email or a direct message with your email address or buy.at handle, I'll get back to you on this separately.

    Many thanks and Happy Christmas.

    Thanks for replying Bex.

I am aware that Pepperberry is a Bravissimo brand and that you can buy it on Bravissimo.com. But that being the case,, why do the banners not say "Buy Pepperberry at Bravissimo.com".

Basically what you are saying is that:

It's okay if a merchant uses banners not to promote the merchant's website, but a domain name that redirects to the merchant's website.

That just doesn't sit well with me at all. Imagine if all merchants used banners in this way. Merchant XYZWidgets with banners saying "Shop at ABCWidgets".

Anyway, I'm on holiday now, but will revisit this in the New Year.

    Hello,

No problem. I see why it might be confusing to customers, but I would like to reiterate that commission is paid on Pepperberry products, so there isn't a risk of commission being lost via these banners.

Enjoy your break and drop me a line in the New Year (rebecca.riches@buy.at) and we can pick up on this again.

    Thanks,
